Refund Policy

RETURNS



Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. These would have been sent to the email address you provided when completing the checkout on our website.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted within our 30 day policy:

  • Any item not in its original condition or is damaged not due to our error or the error of the manufacturer 



Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of a partial or full refund depending on the condition of the item returned. All items that arrive damaged, defective, or in unsatisfactory condition are eligible for replacement or a 100% refund. Items that arrive in new condition without defects, that become opened or used may only be eligible for a partial refund.

Refunds are issued in the same medium through which the purchase took place (e.g. if purchased through PayPal, your PayPal account will be refunded or if purchased using a credit card, your credit card will be refunded).

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

Refunds may take several days to process via your bank or credit card provider. If you have received an email from us confirming a refund but do not see the refund posted to your account within 7 business days, please contact us at hello@shadowmeow.com or by visiting the contact us page.

Exchanges 

If you need to exchange your item for whatever reason, the item must be in its original packaging and in unused condition. Shadow Meow does not cover shipping costs for exchanged items. If you would like to exchange an item, please contact our support team at hello@shadowmeow.com or by visiting the contact us page for instructions.


Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Exchanged products will typically arrive 7-14 days after the confirmation of a refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. such as items lost in transit). We must receive your returned item in order to administer a refund.
